The Principle Of Salvation

In this world that we live we understand that there are rules and principles that govern the way things happen.
For example, the law of Gravity. If you throw an object into the sky, the law of gravity acts on that object and it will drop down to the ground.
There are other scientific laws like the laws of flotation and buoyancy.
For an object to float on water or any liquid it must satisfy the laws of viscosity and flotation.
I picked the law of flotation for a reason.
We know that if you drop an iron object into water it will sink.
But large ships and boats are made of iron and steel and yet they float.
Why? Because the iron in ships is made in a way that satisfies the laws of flotation and buoyancy.
Or think about airplanes for example.
A car made of aluminum cannot fly.
But an airplane, made of the same material can fly because it is designed in a way that makes it fly when it starts to move.

Now in the same way that we have scientific laws that govern the physical world, we also have social and human laws that govern the way we interact with each other.
For example, it is common knowledge(in our Country Zimbabwe) that a man must pay the bride price (lobola) in order to marry a wife customarily.

Now, in the same way that we have scientific laws, physical laws, and social laws, we also have spiritual laws.
Spiritual laws are those laws that govern the way certain things must be done in order to get specific results.
Spiritual laws apply to the realm of the spirit and are applied when you want to effect changes in the realm of the spirit.
An example of a law in this realm of the spirit is the 'principle of prayer'. Another one is 'Using The Name of Jesus'.

In particular, I want to talk about the 'PRINCIPLE OF SALVATION' that is, 'HOW TO GET BORN AGAIN'.
There is a principle of salvation and the bible clearly shows us.
If a man applies this principle he will become saved, that is he will be born again.
That principle is found in Romans 10:9
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe with thine heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

This is the principle of salvation. It consists of three essential parts.

1) That if thou shalt CONFESS WITH THY MOUTH THAT JESUS IS LORD
2) That if thou BELIEVE WITH THINE HEART THAT GOD RAISED JESUS FROM THE DEAD
3) That satifying 1 and 2 will result in THOU SHALT BE SAVED.

In addition the bible gives us reasons of why steps 1 and 2 are carried out. It tells us the explanation of the principle.
The bible says

"For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" - Romans 10:10.

Did you see that?
With your heart you believe unto righteousness. That means if you believe that Jesus was raised from the dead, God declares you righteous (and righteousness is what makes a person in right standing with God).
But another part it also says is "with your mouth confession is made unto salvation".
It is with your mouth that you speak the Words that will literally catapult you into salvation.
That's why it's not just enough to believe in God and Jesus. It's not enough to save you.
It's not enough to think about God and believe in your heart alone that God raised Jesus from the dead.
You MUST CONFESS with your mouth that Jesus is Lord.

So there you have it?
If you wish to be saved (born again) you can thus pray, by actually speaking the words.

"Oh Lord God. I come to you in the Name Of Jesus. I confess that Jesus is Lord of my life. I believe with my heart that you raised Him from the dead.
I therefore receive eternal life into my spirit. I am now a new creation. I am born again. Amen"

God bless you.
